Step 1

Order a Power Pack

Order the right Power Pack for your Fumpa pump.

Make sure your Nano, Mini, Fumpa or Mega is a the model which has replaceable batteries.

You can determine this by looking at the SKU of your pump (the code on the product information label starting with WDCD...) and checking that it is a replaceable battery model.

Step 2

Pop the end cap off

Use your thumb to apply pressure to the edge of the end cap furthest from the nozzle.

The cap is glued onto the aluminium body during manufacture, apply reasonable pressure to break the glue's seal and the cap will pop off.

Your Power Pack kit has replacement end caps so don't worry if you damage it when removing it.

Step 3

Remove old battery

Carefully withdraw the old battery from your Fumpa by pulling gently on the wires.

It should come out of the housing quite easily and smoothly.

Step 4

Disconnect cables

Use the quick-release fittings on the battery cables to disconnect the old battery.

Please dispose of the old battery by taking it to an authorised rechargeable battery recycling centre.

Step 5

Prepare the new battery

Remove the safe shipping circuit from the wires of the new battery and dispose of it appropriately.

Step 6

Connect new battery

Connect the three wires of the new battery with the two connectors.

Step 7

Insert new battery

Insert the new battery into the same space you within the pump's case from which you removed the old battery.

Curl the wires as in the photo to ensure they are fully within the pump's casing, and not too sharply bent.

It is important to avoid cracking the plastic covering on the wires as they could short-circuit against the metal casing.

Step 8

Glue a new end cap on

Use the included glue to make a seal around the inner edge of a new end cap.

Fit the new end cap to the pump's casing making sure to hold the top plate of the pump firmly against the sides.

When correctly aligned the new end cap will 'click' into place and your pump should feel solid.

Hold the new end cap in place for 5 mins to allow the glue to begin setting. Allow 3 hours for the glue to fully bond.

Step 9

Charge your pump

It is important to now connect your pump with it's new battery to a USB charger with a USB-C cord.

Charging the new battery will reset your Fumpa's power management system.

You can also replace the nozzle seal with the supplied new black rubber seal.

Once it is fully charged, your Fumpa is back to factory freshness!
